Accessibility of the hotel:
- All members of staff have been trained in disability awareness, organised by the Braille League (non-profit association for the blind and visually impaired).
- The staff are very welcoming and always ready to help guests.
- Unfortunately, their accessible rooms do not have a shower or adapted toilet.

- The access to and circulation in the hotel is on one and same level.
- An adapted toilet is available on the ground floor.
The hotel offers five accessible rooms:
- A non-beveled projection of 2 cm is present at the entrance of each room.
- The space in the rooms is sufficient for wheelchair use.
- The bathrooms are very big. However, the wash basin impedes the common transfer area of the shower seat and toilet.
- We advise the Mercure Brussels Center Midi hotel for people in wheelchairs who know how to transfer from the front.

- The single-storey entrance to the hotel is located directly in the Gare du Midi.
- The dimensions of the elevator are not in conformity but it remains usable for a person in a wheelchair.
- An adapted toilet is present on the ground floor.
The hotel offers five accessible rooms:
- A non-beveled projection of 2 cm is present at the entrance of each room. They are not spacious, however, a transfer area for the bed and a 150 cm rotation area are present.
- The bathrooms allow a comfortable use of the equipment.
- Transfer areas are present for the toilet and the shower. The grab bars are only on the wall side.
- We recommend this hotel for people in wheelchairs who can do a complete tour in a rotation area of 150 cm maximum.

- You must cross a 15% slope over 2.3 m to access the hotel’s entrance gate, which is automatic and sliding.
- In the lobby, a lift platform compensates for three large steps.
- The interior traffic is level but has slopes and slopes. The percentage varies between 2 and 6%.
- The free passage of the elevator door is only 80 cm.
The hotel offers seven accessible rooms:
- A non-beveled projection of 2 cm is present at the entrance of each room.
- The space in the rooms is sufficient for wheelchair use.
- Bathrooms are very large, however, they come in the form of a pentagon.
- The transfer area of the toilet is present but its configuration is not ideal (the room has the shape of a pentagon).

- The door to the main entrance is very heavy and the staff do not see the people arriving.
- The badge reader in the elevator is 132 cm high, the staff is nevertheless present to help when needed.
The hotel offers several accessible rooms:
- There is enough space in the rooms for wheelchairs.
- The concern in terms of accessibility is in the bathrooms, the sink impedes the transfer area of the toilet. One must know how to transfer him/herself from the front to use the bathroom toilet. However, the toilet located on the ground floor offers more accessibility, the bowl is only 43 cm high.
- The shower is compliant.
